We know flexibility is key for a great work environment and we’re proud to offer an Open and Respectful Paid Time Off program. Our Paid Time Off (PTO) program is open, and we encourage our team to use the time they need. PTO can be used to help you rest, rejuvenate and find balance, get personal things done or finally take that vacation.
For general guidance, we suggest each individual target 20 days PTO per year. You should work with your manager to give proper notice, and ensure coverage plans are well defined. While not always possible, aim for giving a 1 week notice for each day off (gonna be gone for a week? Aim for a month or more notice!). To help promote equity, and better understand usage, employees will be asked to track their time via COMPANY HRIS.
Paid Time Off
Time for rest and rejuvenation and to avoid burn out. Use this at your discretion, but we encourage our team to take time for self care, mental wellness and vacations.
This time is not accrued or banked. It is open and we trust our team to use this as needed. As general guidance, most folks should aim to take 20 days per year, or one week per quarter.
Floating Holidays
In addition to COMPANY’s Company Holidays We encourage each member of our team to take 2 floating holidays each year to observe days of cultural or traditional significance.
As you plan coverage and appropriately notify the team of your time away, we encourage folks to share or link to more information about the holiday they are observing. This is a great chance for us to learn about one another other, while recognizing and celebrating a variety of cultures.

Celebration Days
As we work collectively to achieve our goals, we want to celebrate milestones and recognize the effort behind the accomplishment. Once a major project is complete, team leads can designate a Celebration Day for folks to enjoy a day off. Team Leads may use their discretion when designating Celebration Days, but in general achievements should support the success of an OKR.
Parental Leave
Congrats, Parents! Expanding and adding new additions is a wild and exciting time. All employees can take up to 16 weeks of fully paid leave whenever a new child joins their family, whether by pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy. This leave can be taken at any point in the 12 months following the child's arrival.
Bereavement
Losses come in many forms, and **COMPANY’**s policy is in place to allow our team time to grieve; whether you experience the loss of a family member, pregnancy or pet we encourage you to take the time you need.
Bereavement is often needed suddenly, and sometimes intermittently. As soon as possible email or Slack your manager with an approximation of leave required and a brief summary of projects with upcoming deadlines.
